Assign eDiscovery permissions<\/h2>\n

    Go to\u00a0https:\/\/compliance.microsoft.com<\/a>\u00a0and sign in using an account that can assign permissions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    In the left pane of the Microsoft 365 compliance center, select\u00a0Permissions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    On the\u00a0Permissions & Roles<\/strong>\u00a0page, under\u00a0Compliance center<\/strong>, click\u00a0Roles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    On the\u00a0Compliance center roles<\/strong>\u00a0page, select\u00a0eDiscovery Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    On the\u00a0eDiscovery Manager<\/strong>\u00a0flyout page, do one of the following based on the eDiscovery permissions that you want to assign.<\/p>\n

    To make a user an eDiscovery Manager:<\/strong>\u00a0Next to\u00a0eDiscovery Manager<\/strong>, select\u00a0Edit<\/strong>. On the\u00a0Choose eDiscovery Manager<\/strong>\u00a0wizard page, click\u00a0\"Add\u00a0Add<\/strong>. Select the user (or users) you want to add as an eDiscovery manager, and then select\u00a0Add<\/strong>. When you’re finished adding users, select\u00a0Done<\/strong>. Then, on the\u00a0Editing Choose eDiscovery Manager<\/strong>\u00a0wizard page, select\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0to save the changes to the eDiscovery Manager membership.<\/p>\n
